Charles Quijada Turlington is a brave, kind person - one who believes that every person is capable of transformative change, the kind that frees you from the heaviness of the past, the pains of the present, and the fears of the future. His journey has been one of understanding what it means to bring about this kind of change in his own life. His experiences as a queer person, a person of mixed race, and as a first generation Mexican-American have taught him what it means to exist between: to blur binaries, and to bridge worlds. Navigating these multifaceted identities has been a road filled with twists and turns, and it is along this crooked path that he has found his purpose, connected with his medicine, and anchored his faith in optimism, patience, devotion, & truth.
Through his private practice Queen City Healing Arts, Charles braids together his skills in bodywork, craniosacral therapy, and energy medicine to provide a unique space for those navigating their journeys of healing and self-discovery. His work through the Sacred Way Mystery School has cleared the clutter of new age spirituality & religious dogma, and opened his eyes & heart to the medicine of his ancestors and the power of his own path. Here, his mission is to offer honesty, support, and humble help to all those with an open mind and an open heart as they reconnect with the truth of who they are.
